Sheep is a part of Eid celebration because this cute innocent animal is the symbol of Abraham's sacrifice towards Allah. The story of Eid festival tells that when Abraham offered his son to Allah with open heart to present his faith in God and follow his god's order. He passed the test of Allah and with a magic of Allah sheep replaced the son and that's why the flesh of sheep is considered as the fruit or blessings from Allah.
